Featuring: Lisa Vollrath's Go Make Something

Before I sewed, I scrapbooked.
I documented the baby and toddlerhoods of both my children with little pages like these:

THE VERY FIRST BLOG I FELL IN LOVE WITH WAS:
authored by Lisa Vollrath.

I copied and pasted this directly from Lisa's Squidoo page:
Lisa Vollrath is a prolific mixed-media artist. Her work covers a multitude of techniques, from altered books to collage, from artist trading cards and decos to textile art and costume design. When it comes to artwork, there's nothing she won't try!
Go Make Something helped me expand beyond scrapbooking and delve into the realm of altered books and art books.  I altered encyclopedias and filled little journals.  I still have a few ongoing paper crafting and mixed media projects that I come back to now and then.  I probably always will.

Some of the lovely things you'll find at Go Make Something are tons of free printables.  Lots of beautiful and cute vintage postacrds and labels absolutely free.

You'll also find tons of free paper crafting and mixed media instructions.
Here is a list of tutorials just about Altered Books:

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! No-reply commentors don't get to read my witty replies, and that's just sad.
